And if we get dancers to circle with other circles then in moments we'll begin to make magic! Join us in April for a **special edition ** I-OPENER/DANCE SPIRIT COLLABORATION to weave together our dance tribes for an epic Sunday morning of bliss at the Montague Retreat Center.
Dance Spirit has been a long-standing weekly morning dance in the Western Mass community featuring local DJ's and artists. It's mission is to be a sacred gathering of inclusive connection to Spirit expressed through inspired eclectic contemporary music and freeform dance and movement held together with loving community. We are honored to co-create with their rich history and dedication to the community to bring this special dance morning to the Valley.

You may participate in the dance or just enjoy witnessing. There’s interactive art, space for prayer or meditation, a zone for flow toys, and a kids corner with family actives. All are welcome! We dance barefoot, though non-street shoes may be worn for health reasons.
We consider the dance floor to be a sacred uplifted space and request conversation be taken outside to honor dance and respect those engaged in the dance journey. Please review the safety and respect guidelines posted at the door and any concerns at any time may be addressed with an available Space Holder.

The Montague Retreat Center is a community hub of artistic expression and community co-creation. Nestled in the hills of Montague, Massachusetts this gorgeous space inspires one to both be at peace and energetically dance! From its settlement in 1798 as a rugged New England farm, to the illustrious Montague Farm commune (1968-2002), to Zen Peacemakers (2002-2011), 177 Ripley Road seems to inspire magic. Its legacy is multifaceted: community building, spirituality, art, environmentalism and activism. Montague Retreat Center's mission is to extend that legacy by making this unique place available to organizations and gatherings inline with these values.

Important Note - Don't turn left onto Spaulding Brook Road off North Leverett Road. Instead, continue eastbound on North Leverett Road for 0.1 miles, turn left onto West Chestnut Hill Road and left again onto Ripley Road
